Zester grater - the classic and bestseller from Microplane for a fine grating result. Especially when the grated product needs to be fine, nothing beats this famous blade variant. Shaped like a long, narrow rasp, it is ideal for grating hard cheeses such as Parmesan, ginger, citrus fruits, nutmeg or cinnamon. One hundred small, razor-sharp blades ensure that the grated product falls from the grating surface like wafer-thin shavings. The outer peel of citrus fruits can be easily grated off without removing the white, bitter-tasting skin underneath.
The new Professional Series offers a combination of unrivalled performance, exceptional durability and understated elegance. The series has the same frame structure and handle design as the popular Master & Black Sheep series, but is made entirely of stainless steel. The handle has a beautiful matt chrome finish that gives it a unique, modern look.

All graters in the Professional series have a non-slip rubber base that ensures a stable grip when working vertically. The ergonomically designed handle with its matt chrome-plated surface ensures comfortable handling, even during prolonged use. After grating, a short jet of water is often sufficient to clean the blades. If necessary, the grater could also be put in the dishwasher, but as with high-quality knives, this should be avoided.
Thanks to the reusable protective cap supplied, the graters can be stored in the drawer so that the blade surface is not damaged or you injure yourself when removing them from the drawer. Microplane celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2024. The US company from Russellville (Arkansas) is recognised as a leading premium brand for kitchen tools and is known for its exceptionally sharp and innovative products.
